Am I missing something here? Where? Here, looking at the interview below in which a Republican Senator from North Carolina asks Democrats to give a number to raise the debt ceiling? President Biden meanwhile states that the raising of the debt ceiling has nothing to do with paying for the new infrastructure bill being rammed through Congress.
What is the deal here?

Republican Senators have no such foot to stand on. Especially after letting former President Trump raise the deficit of 8 trillion dollars. That is absurd. The Democrats need to fire back and pass the infrastructure bills without hesitation. This is ridiculous.
