When a Democratic President resides in the White House along with one Chamber of Congress held by Republicans, one can be sure that Republicans will return to their 'deficit hawk' status.  Why?  Who knows why such hypocrisy exists?  Further, who knows why Republicans shoot themselves in the foot when this situation arises.

After the Republicans in Congress allowed President Trump to expand (raise) the deficit by a whopping 7.8 trillion dollars, one would think that any Republican member of Congress would go along with a typical spending plan.  Nope.  Not Republicans.  Raise taxes on the middle class to ease taxes on the rich - let us do it - say, Republicans.
