Dr. Scott Gottlieb has been very sought after by news outlets over the last month. Due to the rising rates of COVID-19 variant - delta variant - spreading throughout the world. Concerns are mounting over lifting restrictions across the United States from the last 18 months of isolation. These concerns and others associated with rising rates are causing CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) to rethink the past, in order to strategize for the future.
Among those professionals is former Commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration Dr. Scott Gottlieb. Below is an interview from last week, aired on MSNBC of Dr. Gottlieb discussing the changes moving forward along with the present state of COVID-19:
One sure aspect of the COVID-19 pandemic effort moving forward will be the changing (i.e. optimization) of protocols and safety measures to different geographical areas in the United States. That, of course, will depend on the public's ability to adapt to changes and accept the data that science has to offer at any given time.
First and foremost, remember, the COVID-19 vaccination is the best way to defend your body against the changing virus. Stay up to date on the science. Educate yourself to the best of your ability. Think logically. Try not to engage in conspiratorial thinking which is counterintuitive to the data of science.
