Actors know other actors. At least that is what actor George Clooney recently said of former President Donald Trump. When asked potentially running for office, Mr. Clooney expressed no interest at all. Although, when confronted with the prospect of former President Trump running for a second term again, his remarks to the AP were:
“It’s so funny, because he was just this knucklehead,” Clooney said. “I knew him before he was a president. He was just a guy who was chasing girls. Every time you went out he’d be like, ‘What’s the name of that girl?’ That’s all he was.”
That is a good description of former President Trump. He still is quite amusing trying to push election lies and crowd size. What would be good for the nation is if the Republican Party rid itself of former President Trump. That would be a step in the right direction.
