How Did The Anti-Abortion Movement Come About In The United States?

Last week's leak from the Supreme Court of an opinion written by Justice Alito on Abortion has caused a large stir across the United States.  If we rewind the tape of history to the starting point of the anti-abortion movement, where are we?  When did the movement start in the United States?

In the video below, a CNN news anchor interviews Frank Schaefer.  Who is Frank Schaefer?  I certainly did not know of him until viewing the video below.  A film inspired by Frank's father prompted the beginning of the anti-abortion movement in the United States:
