The insurrection at the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C. was very real. Contrary to the Republican Party narrative being on display in certain news outlets these days. People have been brought up on criminal charges. The former President of the United States - Donald J. Trump - still believes that the election was a fraud. Due to the loss that was on display, the President is in denial.
Another real aspect of the terrible event which unfolded on January 6th are the real injuries that U.S. Capitol Police Officers received. CNN Reporter Don Lemon interviewed the U.S. Capitol Police Officer Fanone in the video below:
To the deniers of the insurrection, listen and watch carefully to the events and trauma suffered by Officer Fanone. This is real. His therapy is real. Violence was real.
